About this product

What to expect

To make the treatment as comfortable as possible, Juvederm products are formulated with lidocaine. Additionally, your provider will likely apply light numbing cream to the area and use a small needle to ensure as painless of treatment as possible. Juvederm injections can take as little as 15 minutes, with longer appointments depending on the number of areas treated. Results are typically seen immediately, however swelling, bruising, tenderness may occur at the injection site and will usually subside within seven days.

Targeted Areas

The Juvederm line includes a range of products designed to target specific areas of the face, formulated based on the amount of volume that is required. Juvederm Volbella® XC targets the lip area to soften lines and add understated volume Juvederm® Ultra XC also targets the lip area, and is designed to add noticeable volume and fullness Juvederm Voluma® XC is meant to target the cheek and midface to increase volume and definition Juvederm® XC targets wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, and is more subtle than Juvederm Vollure™ XC Juvederm Vollure™ XC targets moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles

How it's work

Juvederm products are hyaluronic acid based fillers developed using Hylacross technology, which gives them their signature fluid, workable texture. Juvederm Ultra XC products also contain lidocaine, a popular numbing agent, to make for a more comfortable injection experience.

Juvederm fillers can have results lasting up for a year with full treatments. However touchups may be required to maintain volume depending on where the product was placed and the severity of the treated area.
